top ten pictures from the week ~ 29.9.10

I have to tell you...
my house looks like the proverbial bomb has gone off in a corner of it
a small one anyway...bomb that is, not corner
and that's not even counting the space the 22 year old is inhabiting

that,my friends, you can only begin to imagine!

but it's where he creates some rather good graphic design...I'll show you some of it one day...
so how wonderful it is to gaze at all this...well, tidyness and order and tranquility...

sometimes my house looks styled...

but not all that often I must confess

maybe this weekend I'll have a styling blitz
or maybe not...I have a wedding to go a paddock near Tumut! Can't wait.

Where, apart from pondering the joys of wedded bliss (and wondering where on earth I went wrong!!), I will think about who to pass this lovely award on to...and make up reveal 5 secret things about me!
Thank you Sara Louise, for thinking I'm silly possum...have you forgotten the crochet rock :)  You must check out Sara in Le Petit Village. Go and meet her, the husband, Fifty, and Honey Jr among others. She is an absolute cracker and an definite must read for moi!

p.s. I actually love the rock :))

  1. Lovely, lovely, every single one of them.

  2. Ah, don't worry - I have three teenagers living at home, remember. I know what mess is. I try to do all my styling when the little darlings aren't home, so it at least stays pretty until they all rampage through again. Oh, and I have to say I'm honoured to have made the list for the second time! I'll have to lift my game though, with competition like this. Have a great time at the wedding - sounds like fun! K xx

  3. hahaha, loved the post -- the contrast between the photos and your words :-)

  4. rocks can be stylish can't they?!

thanks for including a pic treasure, gorgoeus collection as always! jxx

  7. Ooh, that kitchen is perfect!
As for your bombed out house, don't fret. I feel your pain, here in Vancouver. My is a bit of mess these days too! congrats on your bloggy award!

  8. Ok, I just fell in love with the image with the cedar tallboy in the living room. I seriously can't stop looking at it.
Enjoy your wedding (styling can wait I say).

  9. I have had multiple recurring explosions going off in my house for the last 2 weeks...can't wait for school to go back on Monday!
    Love all these images.
Tumut rings a bell. We lived in Wagga Wagga for 2 years. Maybe that's where I've heard it.

  10. Great post and lovely piccies. My Grandmother lives in Tumut. I love it there! x

  11. Great post, Kerri! The mess kids can make is now being realised here, says she of the cluttered dining room table ;) I must get onto that.

I have several bomb sites at my home too Kerry. Never fear you bare not alone! Love these images this week. xx

  15. Oops that is 'are not alone' - not bare not alone. Not sure what that conjures up!!!
