this week's top ten...1 feb 2012

Hiya.
Can I just say...
thank you so very much for your comments on my last post
I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate them
You are wise, compassionate and practical!
Much of what you've suggested has already been done...or is in the process of being done
but not everything, so your comments were really useful
But more than that, it's nice to know I'm not alone in this, and many of you understand exactly what the situation entails...
have dealt with or are struggling with the same issues.
It makes it easier somehow.
So a million thank yous. Really, truly...

  3. Heartfelt thank you from you. I'm glad you got some help and relief from those comments. I really didn't know what to say to help you. That's the funny thing about blogging isn't it? It's such a great source of support and concern when you need it, from people you have never even met. I really hope everything works out for your parents. The stress and worry must be unending, but I know you are one strong woman.xo

  4. A branch used as a curtain rail: ingenious!

I'm no help at all, as it is something I have not had to deal with, but I very much wish you well, and admire the goodspirited way in which you are tackling a difficult situation. Those commentators are certainly wonderful.

  5. Mary here: Great pics as usual. Love the framed photo collage behind the couch in number 4. Wonder where they got the frame or if it was made-to-order. Would love to convince Mark to let me have one of those somewhere in the house!I didn't get to respond to your last post due to the new arrival but it sounds like you and your sister are putting things in motion. It must be difficult when you are both away. I am sure that you will do the best for them and for you. Enjoy the rest of the week. xx

  6. Hello Kerry:
We have just read your previous post and wish to add our sincere good wishes to the many wonderful words of kindness and support from so many readers across the world. This is a difficult and challenging time for you and your parents but it is important to discuss future pathways before it becomes impossible to do so in any rational way. And, most importantly, you must take care of yourself in order that you can face the task ahead with strength and determination.

The photographs you show here really lift the spirits, especially in these chilly days in England. We hope that you too will have the support and love from family and friends in order that you too can be uplifted and fortified to meet the challenges which lie ahead.
