If you facebook with me you'll have seen this silhouette already. I'm thinking of getting it blown up and framed...it will look fabulous in my newly painted living room...Tiny's team starts 13 December bloggy peeps...bit excited about that!
But I digress. I really wanted to show you some more of Ben's (school) work...I think it's pretty spesh...motherly bias aside...
It hasn't been easy; he's done it while working, supporting himself...and for the last 7 months living with me...not that I'm saying living with me isn't easy! Nope...easy street more like it!
I think this made up paint chart booklet thing is really great...
So, well done Ben...you are a wonderful human being and I'm so happy for you and your terrific achievement...and for keeping going even when it got a bit tough.
Now you just need to get a job and pay me some rent! :)
Anyone need a graphic designer??
Good for him. I think graphic design is such an interesting field. My friend is in the business and belive me she has fun and makes a ton of money.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your talented boy.
Congrats to Ben! His work is really great - you should have that lovely tree printed up for cards Kerry :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats there Ben. I'm loving all the work you showed, but that Christmas tree just took my breath away. Yep - should be on cards for sure.

ReplyDeleteWell done Ben and Kerry for surviving it all. Love the Christmas tree. I see he has his mother's flair for interiors.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting not only to finish and do so well but to keep going even if things were tough...there are so many young people out there that let tough things stop them from the bigger dream. Well done proud Mum.
ReplyDeleteLove that boy's work!! Yep you're right about the little possum needing to become gainfully employed & out on his own. May that be sooner rather than later Kerry!

Yay! Gotta rush, but promise to pore over these great designs and if I ever need a designer I will definitely let you know. In this town, he needs to find out which design companies are on the Publications Panels for the big government agencies, and get a foot in the door. I'm sure he'll be snapped up, if he hasn't already with this portfolio. Fab!
ReplyDeleteFantastic work. I love the Christmas tree (as I'm Christmas mode), but it's all so creative and attractive.
ReplyDeleteHello hello, and so sorry for my much delayed comment on this wonderful news! I read all your posts but most often on the run, and on my iPhone without being able to leave a reply..
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how proud and happy you (both) are and his work looks great. If he decides to go into 'packaging design' do let me know and I'll pass on Marshall's details. He is the Managing Director for one of Austral-Asia's top end packaging design agencies. xx
Ok - off I go.. to work..after a coffee perhaps..?
xx Charlotta
