Morning all, Kerri here from Driftwood Interiors. I’m thrilled that Kerry has asked me to guest post for her while she’s off gallivanting around the US. I’ve been a big fan of her blog since day one – her style is so funny, warm and engaging – but even better, I’m honoured to call her a friend. Thanks for the invitation Kerry, and I’ll do my best to fill your very big (as in fabulous, of course!) blogging shoes.
In the spirit of this guest post series, my theme is ‘coastal’, which is right up my decorating alley. Without a doubt, it’s my all-time favourite style. In Australia, the Northern Beaches of NSW boast some of the most gorgeous beach houses, and all have one thing in common – a relaxed, laid-back vibe. Many are more up-market now than the simple beach shacks I used to holiday in as a kid, but the best still promise a real sand-between-your-toes, drinks-in-the-hammock ideal of the perfect beach escape.
I hope you enjoyed your trip to the coast with me today, and thanks so much Kerry for letting me hijack your fabulous blog. Can’t wait to hear all about your big adventure!
Kerri xx

I feel as if I could "resort" to living in one of those!
ReplyDeleteThese are all amazing homes - the stuff dreams are made of! I do like the relaxed, laid back feel. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteKerri, thank you! I'm just back in my hotel room after a full day of walking in my very big boots!! Washington is pretty amazing. And it's off to the big apple in the morning where there will be gallivanting galore :) you're a doll to do this for me. I'd like to be dangling my tired feet in that pool right about now.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful homes, Kerri! They all have gorgeous views! I could get used to lying in a hammock very easily.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting while Kerry is gallivanting away in my neighborhood!
XO,
Jane
What gorgeous dreamy beach homes. I love the ones with windows all around the room - heaven!
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me loose over here Kerry, it's been lots of fun. But how embarrassment - I'm pretty sure I miss-spelled 'galavanting'! I blame it on the fact that my keyboard has now lost both the 'i' and 'b' keys (although I'm clutching at straws, I know!). Hope you're having a fabulous time, and I can't wait to hear all about it when you get back. Enjoy it my friend, I'll catch you soon. K xx
ReplyDeleteOH MY GAAAAAWD! That was some serious eye candy! My two special K's galavanting and letting loose..I like it! ;) x
ReplyDeletelove them all especially the one with the striped sofa.
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS houses Kerri! Love that last house...very me, I would think... and yep....almost tempting enough for me to move to the coast (just wish there wasn't any sand;P). Loved this post Kerri ~ xx
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous, Kerri. Dreaming of my imaginary beach house!!

ReplyDeletehost you're working with? I've loaded your blog in 3 different internet browsers and I must
say this blog loads a lot faster then most. Can you recommend a good web hosting provider at a fair

Hi there! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog.
ReplyDeleteIs it very hard to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I'm thinking about setting up my own but I'm not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks
