this week's top ten...29.2.12

Happy leap year day...if there is such a thing J
No time for too many words today possums
Just pretty rooms
Or unusual ones...
You decide

that one above is the waiting room of a hair salon...cool huh!
aren't these flowers spectacular?
Let me know which one you like best J
images seen on: from the right bank, a perfect gray, design manifest, design sponge, parlour, designing home, summer house, the brick house, the style files, tiny white daisies
p.s. thanks for agreeing with me on my last post...and for letting me in on the whole white spined french book thing...who knew! Not me....although the reason they do it still eludes me J

  1. Hello Kerry:
We know that you will find it difficult to believe, but the waiting area of our 'hair salon' in Budapest does not look anything like the one you picture here. Come to think of it, there is no waiting room in our 'hair salon', well come to think of it 'salon' is perhaps too strong a word for it....but they do cut hair!!!!

These are very pretty rooms....and you are in the leap day already. Happy days!!

  2. The book shelves over the door frame is a dream of mine for my crazy messy office but the bathroom was dreamy and I loved number nine with its slanted ceiling which gave the room height and quite likely light - OMG, you make it hard to choose but I guess I am going for the book shelves over the door frame. Cheers as always from my not so tranquil Townhouse on the west coast of Canada to your tranquil one Kerry. :)

  9. I saw that hair salon. I especially loved those sling chairs. Lucky that salon's not in Brisbane because I'd have to find an excuse to be professionally coiffed by them on a daily basis.

  21. I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is needed to get setup? I'm
assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I'm not very web smart so I'm not 100% sure. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
