Anyway, long story short...not living in Sydney, I couldn't go to the actual shop so I hopped over to the online shop and immediately fell in love with this...
I am a kaftan girl from way back...oh yes I am :)
I whipped out the credit card, ordered, three days later it was delivered to the office, wore it out that night...many compliments...one happy shopper! As I emailed to Vanessa, "I am totally in love with it. I can wear it as a dress or over trousers. It's so versatile and comfortable."
This is the only item of clothing in the online store at the moment, but check out the lovely homewares you'll find there. I was a bit in love with this, but alas it's sold...pout.
Vanessa has a lovely blog too. You should check it out.

Hello Kerry:
ReplyDeleteHow exciting all of this is. Your new purchase is most attractive and, as you say, totally versatile as it can be worn in many different ways. It is always good to hear stories of things bought on line arriving promptly and as ordered which was obviously so in this case.
As for the dish, had it not been sold we might well have ended up fighting you for it! Lovely.
The lovely Vanessa was my very first stockist in Sydney, and i cant wait to get down to check out her gorgeous shop. Love the dress btw - very you! K xx
ReplyDeleteOoh I love a good recommendation and this looks like it's going to be fun...perhaps I should put my Visa into the freezer beforehand.
ReplyDeleteHappy day!

I love the kaftan, I'm also going through a kaftan stage at the moment, they are just so versatile and comfortable and look great.
ReplyDeleteWe also did one of Shannon's workshops and found them very inspirational.
Very pretty, Kerry! I'd love something like this over jeans with boots!

Gorgeous and simple kaftan......thanks for highlighting. I am loving the idea of the Kaftan but as I am 5" and 6 months pregnant I tend to look like a little carry bag of basketballs....but oh the comfort....
ReplyDeleteLove that bowl also....
Hi Ladies, thank you so much for your inspiring comments and thank you Kerri! I hope to have some more of the gorgeous indian bowls and parats online in a week or so. Vx
